Learning Pronunciation like this =.=

The hardest thing to learn in English language is: SPEAKING~ I believe many of you might agree with me. I guess we Malaysians mostly won't find difficulty in reading and writing English, listening sometimes ok, it depends on the word's speed.

But, thanks to then environment around us, we hardly speak English in our daily life unless you are in the finance and IT field. Previously, as a Chinese school teacher, the chances of brushing up my English are extremely limited. (Except if you are English language teacher)

That's why, my English speaking is so embarrassing now. Never expect I myself a Mandarin fanatic all the time will end up becoming an English teacher. Oh my God~

Haha, this is fate. Anyway, I am happy to accept it. However, as an English teacher, the most essential skill that needs to be acquired is accurate pronunciation of English speaking. Like what our lecturer requested, learn to speak 'Queen's English'~ Oh God... save the queen... =.=

Queen's English aka British English. Learn to use the correct stress and exact rhymes, of course avoid speaking 'lah, mah, loh' etc.

Pronunciation and enunciation of English, must be learned well and WELL before being ended up like this~

Funny, right? But it is American.

Frankly speaking, I myself prefer learning American English over learning British English. I mean the US accent. American English has the largest users among the dialects and definitely has the strongest influence to our world. Why not we use the American rather than the British?
