I knew this city. Not feeling strange at all, but having a great memory with it.
Alor Setar is the capital of Kedah state and is the second largest city in the Northern region (Georgetown is the first, isn't it?) The first time I went to Alor Setar was about six years ago, once I finished sixth form. And, I definitely never forget, this was my first ever backpacking experience with two of my best mates, Boon Ming and Kok Keong. We traveled across the whole Northern states and cities, which include Penang, Kedah and Perlis. Of course, Alor Setar was part of our expedition.

It was a wonderful experience, everything still in a very clear picture in my mind.
Nevertheless, time passes so quickly. Six years has just gone like an arrow. Everything is changing unnoticeably. Now, this is my second time traveling to Alor Setar again, with another batch of friends -- my coursemates.
Yesterday, we had a short trip to Alor Setar. So, let the pictures tell the story.

Today is the first day of a long weekend because this coming Sunday is a public holiday, so we have three off days straight. My housemates and I went for a running exercise just now. Twenty-four hundred meters isn't a groundnut for me anymore since I abandoned running for quite a long while. Need to train up again in these 18 months of 'monastic' life.
Monastic? yeah~
(Special thanks to Waijin for fixing my language^^)
